Before becoming a famous astronomer, William Herschel was a well-known and popular musician. His works, unfortunately, disappeared from the repertory and were completely overshadowed by his scientific works. While perhaps not as elaborate or structured as works by his contemporaries Haydn and Mozart, these works for keyboard are none-the-less enjoyable.
